Hey you,
Why are you beating yourself up about an outcome that you created in your mind?
Friend please remember that our perception of what is happening is often distorted by our preconceived notions. They might therefore, be wrong or very far from what is actually happening in reality; As how we think about our circumstances is oftentimes skewed.
I sometimes wonder why we so often think about the worst possible outcomes to our circumstances. Then, guilt trip about these non-realistic events that are only figments of our imagination. Not long after creating our fictional results, we begin to worry or stress about things that will probably never happen.
If we are not careful, however, we’ll worry negative thoughts into existence. Job 3:24 says, For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. Self-fulfilling prophecy.
The reality is, things are never as bad as we make them out to be, well, at least 90% of the time, in my experience.
When we find ourselves overthinking, creating the worst possible scenarios in our minds, or stressing about a situation, it’s the perfect time to cast all our cares on God. Allowing God to work out our issues His way, in His time.

1 Peter 5:7 casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].
The Lord wants us to relinquish our cares, anxieties, struggles, stressor, and concerns to Him. Thinking about my life, I am on high alert when someone I love is burdened by a situation. I never want to see them stressed, worried, or feeling overwhelmed. I am, therefore, willing and ready to do all that I can to help them resolve their issue.
If we don’t want to see our loved ones stressing and beating themselves up, think about how much more Jesus, the lover of our souls, wants us to always be in perfect peace. Let us stop overthinking, stop stressing, stop crying, and stop worrying about our situations and let us start trusting God like never before. He cares for us deeply, and He is constantly watching over us, waiting on us to toss everything that we are facing on Him. Let’s not delay, instead, let us cast ALL our concerns on Him right now; He is waiting.
See you along the God-directed path.
Be blessed
