Did you know…The average adult makes between 30,000 and 35,000 decisions every single day? Some are small and automatic, like what to eat for breakfast. But others… they shape the direction of your life. More and more people today feel lost in the choices, unsure of which path leads to life of real purpose.
If that’s you…

If you’ve been trying to figure life out on your own but still feel stuck. You’re not alone. We’ve all been there. But what if the clarity you’re searching for doesn’t come from trying harder…But from turning to the One who already knows the way?
Let’s talk about how to engage God for real direction.
You Weren’t Meant to Figure Life Out Alone
You weren’t designed to carry this on your own. You need God. The One who holds the blueprint for your life. Scripture calls Him: “The author and finisher of our faith.” Hebrews 12:2. As the Author, He’s not just writing your story. He’s guiding it, step by step. But here’s the question:
Are you letting Him?
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’” Isaiah 30:21
God isn’t silent. His intentions are clear. So why do so many of us still feel stuck, frustrated, or confused about what to do next? It’s time to change that narrative.
“You do not have because you do not ask.” James 4:2

A Story About Engaging God’s To Lead
Let me tell you a story.
A man from a small village was offered a life-changing job in the city. It was prestigious. High paying. Everything he had dreamed of. Everyone around him said, “Take it!” But instead of rushing… He prayed: “God, I don’t want to go where You’re not leading.” He felt peace about letting the opportunity pass.
Months later… a different door opened. A role at a global firm. It paid well, kept him close to home, and gave him time for ministry. That one decision changed his life. It led to a thriving ministry and open doors he never imagined.
Why? Because he didn’t just follow an opportunity. He followed God.
What Should You Do When You’re Unsure?
So when you’re unsure where to turn…Don’t go it alone. Engage God. Open His Word, let Him speak first. Then respond with an honest heart. Ask Him for what you need. Then… wait. Wait until He speaks. Still your soul until you can hear the whisper behind you saying:“This is the way, walk in it.”
Write down what He brings to mind. Pay attention to His peace. Because sometimes He speaks clearly, and other times, He leads with peace. Even when the picture’s not complete… Trust that He is leading you.

Trust the One Who Sees the Whole Path
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6
So today…Take hold of God’s promise. Let Him bring order to every one of your steps. Out of the 30,000 choices you’ll make today, turning to God might be the most important.
Until next time, see you along the God-directed path.
Be blessed.
