Do You Believe Me?

Dear Beloved,

I want you to turn to James 1:8, I have some questions for you. “being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].”AMPC. Do you believe me? Do you believe my word, my voice, my plans? Do you believe me when I say that I love you, that I chose you, that you mean the world to me? Do you believe that you are special? And NO, I’m not trying to be cliché, I really do, I died for you, didn’t I? So why is it so hard to accept that I love and care for you, and want the best for you? Okay so, release yourself to be loved by me, the greatest lover you’ll ever encounter.   

Furthermore, do you believe that I created you for a purpose?  Why else would you be here?  Surely it’s not by happenstance! You were careful handcrafted, assigned to this time, place and season. Created in my image.  I need you to know that I created you with purpose.  I created you the way that you are for a reason.  A reason far greater than you understand right now, but, trust me, you are no mistake. I made no mistakes with you, you are who you are because that’s how I create you.  Accept it, own it, love it, then, surrender all that I’ve given you, so that I can use all that you are for my glory.  

Why do you struggle to believe that I hear you? I hear you. I listen to you.  Do you listen to me? I want you to stop listening to the noise around you and listen to me, focus on me, give me your full attention.  I am the only fix that you need, to survive, to thrive, to live an abundant life.  

Do you believe that you are gifted, favored, blessed, valuable, free, accepted, forgiven, an overcomer, a victor?  Do you believe that I’ll provide, protect, heal, deliver, sustain, maintain, cleanse, fight for, defend, secure, lead, guide, mediate for, redeem, comfort, strengthen, position, anoint, appoint, you?  

Before you continue, stop and think. Think about each question.  Sometimes you respond to questions without examining the answers that you give. So think.  Don’t respond based on what you think is the correct thing to say.  Stop and exam if you really believe me. I want you to think because belief brings with it a certain conviction.  It also requires certain actions and attitudes.  So if your mind tells you yes, I believe, but you doubt me consistently, you speak and/or think negatively about yourself and your ability, you dismiss my words as impossible or irrelevant, answer me this, do you believe?

Finally, stop obsessing over not being where you think you should be, Yes you are not where you need to be right now, but you are not where you used to be.  Beloved, I see you, I see you striving, I see you trying, I see your effort and you’re going to get there. Continue seeking my face, I included proverbs 3:5-6 in the Bible for a reason.  Also I need you to trust the process, I know that you’ve heard that over and over and over again but you also need to apply it.  Hearing it only, does nothing for you.  Let me tell you again “TRUST THE PROCESS”. And remember, my grace is sufficient for all that you’ll ever go through.  Trust my word, my voice, my plans. Trust me.
