God’s Unfailing Love

For God so love the world, He gave His life that I might be redeemed

Redeemed by his blood, shed for a sinner like me, way back on calvary

On calvary he was wounded for my transgressions, He was bruised for my iniquities 

Inequities condemned me to eternal damnation, but thank God, through His love I have sweet salvation.

He came to seek and save those who are lost

Lost to God’s freedom, power and knowledge, wayward and sinful, satan’s hostage 

Hostage, not able to break free from sin, unless we open our heart for love to come in

Into his arms he’ll safely enfolded, wipe away all tears, no more strongholds

What manner of love hath the father bestowed

He bestows power, love and and a sound mind, everlasting freedom and a heart that is kind

Kind hearted, tender hearted is He to us ward, his love draws us close in spite of our flaws

Flawed are we, since the fall of man, but Jesus Christ shed his blood, God eternal plan

Unfailing love He has lavished on you, don’t believe what what the devil says, it is not true

Truth, God’s love is perfect and pure, you don’t have to worry He has life’s cure 

Cure for your heart aches, sicknesses and pains, His love is faithful, in Him there is much to gain

Gain peace, joy, and contentment on earth, and not to mention a spiritual rebirth

So if you are  lost, tossed, double crossed

Discarded, broken hearted, disregarded

Rejected, neglected, dejected

distressed, depressed,  or oppressed

God loves you, He died for you, 

He will never leave or forsake you, no matter what life puts you through

He died on that cross, so that you won’t be lost

No greater love hath a man than this

His love sets you free to have eternal bliss.
